KCDC honors dedicated employees

Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation (KCDC) recently honored 23 employees who have achieved service milestones during the past year. At the June board meeting, the employees received a special pin in recognition of this accomplishment and in gratitude for their dedication to KCDC.

“It is only with the hard work and caring spirit of our employees that KCDC is able to reach our goals and realize our successes,” said Alvin Nance, KCDC executive director and CEO. “I am proud of these individuals and extremely grateful for their contributions to KCDC.”

Chief Operating Officer Art Cate has achieved 30 years of service with KCDC.

Kim Clark has achieved 25 years of service. Carroll Brock, Gordon Monroe and Rex Wolfenbarger have achieved 20 years of service with KCDC. Both James Vineyard and Lisa Weddle have achieved 15 years of service.

Eight employees achieved 10 years of service: Denise Campbell, David Cook, Kara Davis, Willie Hall, Michael Hodges, Teresa Lawson, Gary Schultz and Kristie Toby.

Eight employees achieved five years of service: Joe Hardin, Floyd Hunley, Jerry Johnson, Candy Miles, Bob Rhinehart, Tommy Schultz, Janet Sinning and Venus Styles.
