SunTrust sponsors “The Man Run”

SunTrust Bank, East Tennessee is the title sponsor of a first-of-its kind event in the Knoxville area to raise awareness of prostate cancer. All funds raised through the first annual THE MAN RUN for Prostate Cancer Awareness, Presented by SunTrust Bank, East Tennessee, will support free prostate cancer screenings and educational programs of The University of Tennessee Medical Center Cancer Institute.

“SunTrust is proud to be the major sponsor and partner with UT Medical Center for this inaugural race to raise awareness about prostate cancer and the importance of early screening,” said Debbie Crowder, President and CEO of SunTrust Bank, East Tennessee. “Personally, my husband Les and I are sponsoring this race because we have seen the benefit of the caring and knowledgeable staff members at UT Medical Center who have helped Les on his journey for a cure.”
