Does your blood really run orange? If so, Medic Regional Blood Center
asks you to prove it during the upcoming U.T. vs. U.F. Tailgate Blood
Drive. “We are taking on the community blood center, Life
South out of Gainesville and Gator fans for this fun
competition,” explains Christi Fightmaster, Medic spokesperson,
“This is a tangible way for us to support our team and do what we
can to win this competition.” The competition runs the week of
the football game which means it will start Monday, September 15 and
run through Friday, September 19.
Donors are asked to bring friends, family and co-workers out to a blood
drive so Medic can ensure a victory! According to Medic
staff, this competition comes at a great time for because they
have been back ordered on certain blood types and the overall inventory
remains very low.
Donors are always welcome at the two MEDIC locations: 1) 10601 Ailor
Ave. near downtown Knoxville and 2) 11000 Kingston Pike in Farragut
near Pittsburgh Paints.
One blood donation can help save three lives!
